NEW Watershed Conservation Internship - applications due Aug 25

Watershed Conservation Internship (part-time, Sept - Dec). ***Deadline for application is August 25.

SPAWN is seeking a committed intern with a background in watershed resources and management to be an integral part of the team as we begin implementing stormwater harvesting and water conservation projects throughout the County. Duties will include: Field and site assessments, site design, project implementation, research and report writing, website maintenance, volunteer and probono outreach and coordination. Our office is located in West Marin County near the town of Olema (~1-mile west of Samuel P. Taylor State Park). Looking for a minimum commitment of 16-hours/week Sept - Dec.

Experience is preferred, but training will be provided. Applicants should be comfortable with and handy with tools and able to spend long days working outdoors. Resume and cover letter should be sent via email to Paola@tirn.net.
