Agency: SPAWN, the Salmon Protection And Watershed Network, which works to restore Marin's streams and endangered salmon populations in the San Geronimo Valley and Lagunitas Creek.
"Julie is one of the most dedicated and creative volunteers and (San Geronimo) valley residents I have ever had the pleasure to work with," said Paola Bouley, SPAWN conservation director. "She played a major role in launching our native plant nursery in 2006, and since then has helped lead a very successful rain garden and rainwater harvesting program in Marin."
