The SALMON PROTECTION AND WATERSHED NETWORK and MARIN MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT present the
10,000 Rain Gardens Project's Tour & Workshop Series


SPAWN and MMWD will be hosting a tour of rain garden and rainwater harvesting projects in our community that demonstrate ways to conserve water, reduce flooding and erosion impacts on neighborhoods and protect local streams and wild salmon. These tours and workshops are FREE to MMWD customers.

Our 1st tour for 2010 will be this coming SATURDAY FEB 20!

What: Tour of community rainwater harvesting projects (cisterns and rain gardens) w/ discussion and demonstration of rainwater harvesting concepts and applications.

The event is cosponsored by Sustainable Fairfax

Where: Meet at the Sustainability Center, 141 Bolinas Rd, Fairfax CA.

When: 10am-1pm Saturday, February 20.

Cost: Each Rain Garden Tour and Workshop is FREE for MMWD district customers, $25 for non-MMWD customers. We are requesting pre-payment since these tours are very popular and fill up quickly!
