2014 SPAWN Restoration Work Party Schedule
Come learn about the great work SPAWN is doing to help restore and conserve stream habitat for the endangered Coho salmon of the Lagunitas Creek Watershed and help out with SPAWN's restoration team while enjoying the beautiful outdoors, good company and a great learning experience.
The SPAWN Ecological Restoration Projects you might be interested in include but are not limited to: native seed collection, erosion and invasive plant control, native plant establishment, bio engineering, irrigation installation, helping out in our native plant nursery, and installing storm-water harvesting systems.
Events are arranged to include family friendly activities that everyone can enjoy so COME JOIN US!
SPAWN is involved in collaborative projects all over San Geronimo Valley from private land, to Marin County Open Space, to the San Geronimo Golf Course. Listed below are the current work-party dates that SPAWN would love to have you participate in.
For volunteer events happening in the San Geronimo Valley, please meet at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center, located at 6350 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. San Geronimo, CA 94963.

*Regular weeding parties at Samuel P. Taylor State Park are facilitated by volunteers from SPAWN and the Marin chapter of the California Native Plant Society. For these events, please come to the "Camp Taylor" entrance and tell the ranger at the kiosk that you are volunteering. They will direct you to the far end of the picnic area where you can meet the group. Please bring gloves, water, and dress for the weather.
