May 9 - MCSTOPPP Eco-Friendly Garden Tours & MAGiC Eco-InstiWHEN: Saturday, May 9, 2009 WHERE: Marin Art and Garden Center ("See HERE:"http://www.calendarwiz.com/calendars/calendar.php?crd=magc& and location details below) SPAWN is part of the third-annual MCSTOPPP Eco-Friendly Garden Tour program and Marin Art and Garden Center's Eco-Institute! The tours encourage visitors to visit special private gardens on this day. SPAWN's rainwater harvesting and raingardens will be a great focus for our local participants. This event is sponsored by the Marin Art and Garden Center and MCSTOPPP - the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program. MAGC will provide eco-friendly garden education with literature tables, book sales, displays, demos, children's activities, and more. The Eco-Institute will take place in the small parking lot, edible garden, garden demo area, composting area, streamside, and at the Butterfly Garden.
