June 13, 2009 through June 14, 2009 Join SPAWN in a lively jaunt through downtown Fairfax to kick-off the Fairfax Festival and EcoFest in the annual Parade!

WHEN: Meet at 9am across from Iron Springs Brewery and Pub at the big Fair/Anselm Parking lot and look for the SPAWN coho salmon float and signs! We will have lots of fun signs to share, costumes are encouraged, and kids of all ages are welcome. The Parade runs 10am - 11:30am on Saturday, June 13th only.

Later, SPAWN will be set up in the EcoFest Pavilion where you can meet the SPAWN crew, sign-up to be a volunteer at our table, and spread the word on joining SPAWN for coho conservation and habitat restoration!

WHEN: Volunteers are needed in two shifts: from 11-2pm and 2pm-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Please RSVP to Chris Pincetich: chris@tirn.net or (415) 663-8590 x102!

WHERE: The EcoFest Pavilion is at the top if the hill behind the Fairfax Fest main stage, next to the baseball field. Admission is FREE and you can enjoy organic food and beverages, learn from the many info displays, and meet Marin's sustainable and eco-friendly community organizations.
